Finding a web designer or agency to work with can be tough. On one hand, the success of your website project depends on the quality of your website. While on the other hand it is also important that the people you work with are a good fit.

So here is a bit about me to help you decide:

I’ve been designing and building WordPress based websites for 14+ years now. I’ve worked on websites for small businesses, large multinationals and everything in-between.

I also have many years of experience with SEO, Blogging, Branding, Digital Marketing and Photography. This gives me a holistic view of websites and what it takes to make them perform well.

Besides website design, my creative focus is on writing fantasy and sci-fi and working on my concept illustration and photography skills.

As a creator myself, I understand the challenges creators face and the desire to get noticed and be heard. Thus, I am passionate about helping artists, authors, content creators, photographers and creative entrepreneurs of all kinds build better online businesses.

In this brief Zoom call, it’s all about getting to know each other and understanding what you’re looking for in your website. We’ll chat about your business, your goals, and any ideas you have for your site. This call is a chance for us to see if we’re a good fit and for you to ask any questions you might have about the process. Don’t worry, it’s super relaxed and friendly – just like meeting a new friend!

2. Estimate

After our introductory call I’ll follow up via email with an estimate and timeline for your website project based on our discussions and our experience with similar projects. Estimates are free with no strings attached!

3. Project Discovery

Our comprehensive website design discovery call, is a deep dive into all the requirements for your website! We’ll discuss your business goals, your target audience, and what you need and want your website to achieve. We’ll also discuss your design preferences, features you need, and any special requirements you have. It’s like a brainstorming session where we gather all the juicy details to create your perfect website!

4. Proposal

This is where we’ll lay out all the details we discussed, including the features, design, scope, deliverables and timeline for your project. Plus, we’ll break down the pricing so you know exactly what you’re getting. It’s like a roadmap to your amazing new website!

5. Project Start

Now that we’re kicking off your website project, we’ll touch base to clarify who’s responsible for what. In most cases, you’ll be in charge of providing the content, like text and information about your business as well as images/details of your work. We’ll take care of the design and technical stuff. We’ll guide you every step of the way, and if you need any help or have questions, just give us a shout!

6. Design & Development

This is where all the magic happens. We’ll take all the ideas and concepts we discussed and turn them into a beautiful, functional website. You’ll get to see your vision come to life as we create stunning designs and bring them to reality with coding and technical wizardry. We’ll keep you in the loop with review periods, so you can provide feedback and make sure everything looks and works exactly how you want.

7. Testing & Quality Checklist

Before we launch your website, we want to make sure everything is perfect. That’s where website testing comes in! We’ll go through a comprehensive quality checklist to make sure your website is working as it should.

8. Launch

We’ve reached the super exciting ‘Go Live’ stage of your website journey! This is where we take your website live once final payments are all sorted and your website is looking fantastic. You will also get a full 30 days of free Webmaster support to make any last minute tweaks.

9. Website Management

Proper website maintenance and support is important for keeping your website healthy and working. Our Webmaster services include things like regular software updates, backups, security checks, and technical support. We’ll make sure your website stays in tip-top shape so you can focus on being the amazing creator that you are.

So, when it comes to designing a website, it usually takes somewhere between 3 to 8 weeks. But here’s the thing – it really depends on how big and complicated the project is.

If it’s a smaller website with just a few pages, it might be quicker, around 3 weeks or so. But if it’s a bigger project with lots of fancy features and pages, it could take up to 8 weeks.

Don’t worry though, we’ll work together to figure out the best timeline for your project and make sure everything turns out awesome!

After our first chat to understand what you need, we’ll give you a basic estimate. Then, if you’re happy to move forward, we’ll schedule a Zoom call to really dig into the nitty-gritty details. After that, we’ll provide you with a detailed proposal, so you know exactly what to expect.

When it comes to getting your very own custom designed website, our prices start at $1,650. The average web design project price is around $2,750. More complex websites such as eCommerce, membership and eLearning platforms will naturally have a higher price.
